Mode PSK/DATA: Yellow color is default, I changed TX BPF SEL to 100-2900, DATA Mode Source REAR, REAR Select USB, RPTT Select DTR. Of course I did not include PROC, AMC, Mic level and Equaliser. You should start with Function - General to select CAT Rate speed, Time Out 10 msec (default), CAT RTS ON For CW in Function - CW Settings BK-IN SEmi, Delay ( your choice 300 msec works well) CW Wave 6 msec, PC Keying DTR Radio Setting: SSB: Almost as default at exception TX BFL to your operating style. Yes, uart enhanced dedicated for your CAT radio control, FSK and the standard for CW, PTT, and not to mix-up Com Port If you looked at Yaesu CAT manual, they want RTS ON (default) for radio control Com Port, so DTR will be used for the standard port CW, PTT. Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue? My gut feeling it that it's a software issue, do you think I am correct? If so, is Yaesu aware of this and if so, have they said anything to anyone anywhere? 73s. The recent updates from Yaesu were installed and the radio reset to defaults. But when I go to Enable TX or hit Tune, there is no activation of the transmitter in the FTdx101D. The tuned radio frequency which changes with the WSJT-X band selection correctly influences the radio. I have established the CAT link and WSJT-X seems to talk to the FTdx101D. WSJT-X also doesn't seem to generate any output out of the FTdx101D. There is some tiny bit of leakage from the FTdx101D but no actual RF output on the external power meter running to the dummy load when running in any mode other than RTTY or CW. I have another receiver sitting close by, tuned to the same radio frequency to monitor for the presence of any output. But then it doesn't actually transmit a modulated signal from FLDigi or from FLDigi, it's just burping out an unmodulated carrier when in RTTY or CW mode. The only circumstance i can get any RF response out of the FTdx101D is when I operate it in RTTY mode or CW mode. Flawless performance! When I reconfigure to try to use the FTdx101D, I cannot get any output power on either "Tune" function or on calling CQ into a dummy load in USB, USB-D, or Data. And many FT8 contacts with the Kenwood and the SignalLink interface. I had a couple of QSOs with FLDigi and the older Kenwood through SignalLink. I can make FLDigi work just fine with my SignalLink USB and older Kenwood TS-950SDX which doesn't support CAT just now (in it's existing configuration, I'm working on remedying that soon with a hardware interface just for the sake of refinement). Hi I can't make the FTdx101D and FLDigi cooperate when transmitting on Olivia.
